About the Training:

Our Yoga Teacher Training Course is designed for those who wish to deepen their practice, gain a solid foundation in teaching, and immerse themselves in the holistic benefits of Yoga from a traditional Indian lens, with a few modern Western additions.

This course will be an introduction to the world of Yoga, including:

  • Asanas (Hatha / Vinyasa)

  • Pranayama

  • Meditation

  • Anatomy

  • Philosophy

  • Teaching Methodology.

We will be taking a maximum of 20 students to ensure we are able to give each individual the care and attention they deserve & set you up for success.

What to Expect:

Techniques, Training, and Practice:

Dive deep into the practice of Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation with theoretical and experiential classes daily.

Anatomy and Physiology:

Understand the human body systems and their relationship to yoga practice, with a focus on safe practice and injury prevention/management.

Teaching Methodology:

Learn effective teaching techniques, practice teaching and be given the tools you need to confidently sequence your classes.

Yoga Philosophy & Ethics:

Explore the rich philosophical traditions of Yoga, including the study of key texts: Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita.

Quality & Experienced Teachers:

Hand picked for their talents, experience and qualifications, our teachers come from all parts of the world.

Practicum:

Gain hands-on teaching experience through supervised practice sessions, peer feedback, and observation.

Curriculum

History

The roots of Yoga. The stories, the myths. What is known about this ancient system of ascension.

Philosophy

To know Yoga, we must look at the Sutras, Texts and Vedic wisdom that the ancient Yogis so kindly preserved for us.

Postures

Asana. The physical practice of Yoga. Here we will dive into correct alignment, break each pose down & experience the medicinal effects of Yoga for the Body.

Anatomy

Each day we will build a map of the different systems with the Body, and how they connect to different Asanas (Postures)

Intelligent Sequencing

We will empower you with the tools to create your own classes with confidence.

Pranayama

The breath is crucial to our health and life span. Learn different breathing techniques to benefit you and your Students.
